Elizabeth Banks stuns in plunging floral frock for the venice film festival

Her Hunger Games character may wear over-the-top ensembles and show-stopping make-up, but in real life Elizabeth Banks always strikes the perfect balance for a stunning red carpet look.

And on Sunday the 41-year-old certainly put her best foot forward as she stepped out for the premiere of A Bigger Splash at the 72nd Venice Film Festival in Italy.

She turned heads as she showed off her figure in a form-fitting lace gown while walking the carpet ahead of the premiere.

Elizabeth wore a sleeveless white gown which hugged her trim figure and featured a deeply plunging front.

The flattering number was also embellished with soft pink flowers with green leaves along either side, and had a small train of white lace.

She coupled the gown with a pair of strappy nude heels, showing off a dark pedicure, and carried a coordinating, nude clutch.
